Our Modification Policy: COVID-19

For so many of us, it is our passion to travel and celebrate. We find joy in those unforgettable moments and share happiness with our most loved ones.

 

We’re all facing unprecedented disruptions in our day-to-day lives and now, it is our responsibility to protect eachother and keep adjusting to the latest circumstances.

 

Until it’s time to travel and celebrate life’s memorable moments together again, we’ll update this post as we make thoughtful decisions about bookings, receive the latest guidance from local authorities, and take appropriate steps to keep the Château comfortable and safe for our guests, clients, associates and staff.

 

In response to changing conditions, we are committed to ensuring flexibility during these challenging times and adapt to our clients’ needs.

 

Existing bookings made before March 16, 2020

 

· If the arrival date is between March 16, 2020 – August 30, 2020, no charge as long as the change is made by May 30, 2020.

 

Conditions to apply:

1. Any changes to existing bookings will be subject to availability.
2. All payments made towards the rental and the services are non-refundable.

 

· If the arrival date is between September 1st, 2020 – December 31st, 2020;

 

Conditions to apply:

1. Needs to be rescheduled latest by June 30, 2020 to another date within 12 months of the original stay date.

 

a. If rescheduled within the next 6 months of original stay date:

· No charge or modification fee
· Remaining deposit payment dates will also follow the new date

 

b. If rescheduled to more than 6 months after the original stay date:

· No charge or modification fee
· 20% of the total rental value is required to be paid as deposit to reschedule. The amount will be deducted from the remaining deposit payment.
· Seasonal rate difference may apply.

 

2. Any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability.

 

3. All payments made towards the rental and the services are non-refundable.

 

New bookings made after March 16,2020

 

 · If the arrival date is between July 1st, 2020 – December 31st, 2020; we will allow the reservation to be changed at no charge up to 14 days prior to arrival.

 

Conditions to apply:

1. Needs to be rescheduled to another date within 6 months of the original stay date.

2. Any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability.

3. All payments made towards the rental and the services are non-refundable.

 

· If the arrival date is after January 1st, 2021;

 

Conditions to apply:

1. The reason to reschedule needs to be justified and must be in line with the local regulations or in accordance with the travel advices of the authorities for the related arrival date.

 

2. Needs to be rescheduled by 30 days prior to arrival to another date within 12 months of the original stay date.

 

a. If rescheduled within the next 6 months of original stay date:

· No charge or penalty of modification
· Remaining deposit payment dates will also follow the new date

 

b. If rescheduled to more than 6 months after the original stay date:

· No charge or penalty of modification
· 20% of the total rental value is required to be paid to reschedule. The amount will be deducted from the remaining deposit payment.

 

3. Any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any seasonal rates difference may apply.

 

4. All payments made are non-refundable.
